Cartagena

Cartagena was a dream... amazing food, beautiful weather, friendly people, and so much history. 

From Cartagena we visited Palenque, a historical town created by formerly enslaved Africans in Colombia, in order to escape the brutalities of slavery and create a new life for themselves.
